          Hi, I’m Ashley and Welcome to Dances with Goldens!

 

        In 2018, Rylee joined our family and has blessed our lives greatly; we couldn’t be more thrilled to share a little bit of her with you!

         Rylee is our four-legged fur child who loves adventures as much as we do. Rylee is an integral part of our family and comes with us just about everywhere. She loves car rides, hunting, boating, kayaking, camping, and running alongside the horses during mountain rides. She particularly loves to drive through Starbucks for an end of the day puppuccino treat! Fishing with Rylee is always eventful! Often times she’d rather swim in the lake attempting to catch her own fish, which usually ends in a day of fun…and zero fish! We love her sprite personality. At home, Rylee loves life on the farm and interacts daily with farm animals. After a long day full of excitement, you will always find Rylee near family. She may curl on the couch with her head in your lap, she will lift her paw to touch you so she can feel you are near or she’ll be sprawled out on the end of the bed making herself comfortable. Rylee absolutely loves being with family. Rylee is intelligent, fun, friendly, and eager to please. She has an obvious loving personality that is evident with every person who meets her.

          Our number one goal is to provide the best quality golden retrievers possible; to include: health, confirmation, intelligence and socialization. We wait until all health clearances are obtained prior to breeding. 

 

 At age two, tests are performed to meet the requirements of: 

• OFA: hips, elbows, eyes, and cardiac exams.

Genetic testing is completed to ensure we are passing on genes that will better the breed.

• Tests include:

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM)

  • Ichthyosis (ICh)

  • Muscular Dystrophy (MD)

  • Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL)

  • Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-1)

  • Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-2)

  • Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRCD). 

 

          We have done extensive research to formulate a reputable breeding program and have completed our due diligence to produce the healthiest pups possible. We take great pride in golden retrievers and aim to better the breed by meeting the standards, protecting the health and overall well-being of these dogs. 

          Golden Retrievers are so loving, so beautiful, friendly, and fun.  They want to please you, be near you, and become your best friend and family member. Their friendly, intelligent, even tempered, and playful temperament is what is desired.  We fell in love with this amazing breed, and want to share them with you. Each puppy is a part of our family, and I can’t wait to share a part of our family with yours!
